Privacy Policy

This is the boring-but-necessary part of the site where I explain how your info is handled. The short version: I’m an author, not a data-mining overlord.

What I Collect

  • Comments: If you leave a comment on a blog post, WordPress will usually ask for your name and email. That’s so the comment system knows you’re a human and not a spam bot.
  • Email Signups (future): If you sign up for updates, I’ll keep your email so I can send you exactly what you asked for (book news, blog posts, maybe a haiku if I’m feeling weird).
  • Cookies: Like almost every website, WordPress drops cookies. They’re mostly for keeping track of things like whether you’ve visited before. You can block them in your browser if you want.

What I Don’t Do

  • I don’t sell your info.
  • I don’t share it with shady third parties.
  • I don’t spam. (I hate that too.)

How Long I Keep Stuff

Comments and their metadata hang around so conversations don’t disappear. If you ever want yours gone, just ask and I’ll delete it. Emails stay on my list until you unsubscribe (or until I get bored and delete the whole thing).

Kids

This site’s not really meant for kids. If you’re under 18, maybe finish your homework before diving into romance blogs full of brown-chicken-brown-cow.

If a kid under 13 somehow leaves their email or a comment, I'll delete it.
