Hi, I’m Will Glenn.

Well… technically that’s my pen name — my nom de plume (which is just fun to say), my sobriquet, my moniker… you get the idea. I use it because my kids put the ‘ooo’ in Google, and I’d rather not explain how tab A fits into slot B for a couple more decades yet.

What do I write?

Romance with grit, humor, and heat. My stories are full of sexy, flawed, very human characters. My heroes respect women — always. Sure, they can be thirsty dumbasses fumbling their way through connection, but they’re never condescending jerks. My heroines are strong, sharp, amazing women. They screw things up too, and that just makes us love them more.

How do I write?

Raw and irreverent. If you’re looking for flowery prose and “dewy centers,” I’m not your guy. But if you like vivid imagery, sharp banter, and beauty that sometimes comes with thorns — pull up a chair. I’ve never met a metaphor or simile I couldn’t at least get a beer with.

Why do I write?

Because I love this genre. I’ve read and listened to hundreds of romance books — from swoony period pieces to laugh-out-loud rom-coms. I’ve loved romance for years, but only recently got comfortable admitting it — and writing my own. I think there are a lot of men like me out there. Guys who joke with their buddies about watching “chick flicks” because their women made them, and secretly cry at them when they can’t sleep at 3 a.m.

A friend of mine attributes her third kid to a super popular romance series you’ve probably read — and watched the movies. It has a number in the title. Anyway, that’s the highest praise I think a romance author could get. I hope someday someone will say, “Hey, see Luke over there? He’s a product of Chapter 10.”

This site is where I share those stories, along with the messy, funny, very human process of creating them. If I’m doing it right, you’ll laugh, sigh, maybe cry… and yeah, sometimes even moan.
